Clennon Electric, Inc. has been servicing the electrical
construction industry for over 50 years.
The Company was established by Howard Clennon on January 8, 1948 when he acquired
the former
appliance dealership of Frost & Dondanville in Wilmington, IL. In the
early years of the Company, work was based on local electrical service repairs.
Over the years the
Company evolved gaining a focus towards commercial and industrial areas of electrical
construction. |

Today, Clennon Electric remains family owned with a strong commitment to our
community and our customers. Under the leadership of Lawrence Clennon, Howard's
son, the Company has representation on the Board of Directors for the Eastern
Illinois Chapter of the National Electrical Contractors Association, and as well
as several committees of IBEW Local 176. |

Clennon Electric is
a Union Contractor. Our electricians are trained at the Joint
Apprenticeship Training Center which is sponsored by the National Electrical
Contractors Association (NECA) and the International Brotherhood of
Electrical Workers (IBEW). Our electricians are experienced professionals,
extensively trained in each of the services we provide. To remain as a
leader of our industry, continuing education is encouraged for all staff.
